And I can see the CHAOS – the CONFUSION
Many use this change of calendar as yet another HOPE for CHANGE
But they will be DISAPPOINTED
It will be as it has always been
Someday, people will look back at 1999 and say “How BARBARIC!”
They way they BURNED coal and injected POISONS!
APOCALYPSE –
This has been a THREAT for ages, no?
My predecessors already invented the atomic bomb, no?
I wasn’t even born!
I have lived a LIFE with THOUGHTS of nuclear WAR…
…of a deteriorating ENVIRONMENT
A DYING WORLD, R*PED OF HER TREASURES…
Bound by fences and political lines
Oh, H*LL YEAH, I will partake in the REVELRY
But I am not FOOLED –
We are the same as we have always been –
THE PAST – THE FUTURE – IT’S ALL THE SAME TIME
