If you’re not paying attention, you can’t really SEE –
You can’t really see the Reality

What is the Truth? Is the Truth in ME?
Does is really have the Power to Liberate me?

‘Cause I don’t feel free – Not free to be me…
At least, the old me – the one that could SEE

I’m wrapped up in chains – just a shell remains
No more blood in my veins, ‘cept when I rap these refrains

I can see with the SOUND – see what’s all around

Is this brick white or red?
Would I been better off dead?

Sorry – don’t know where that light switch be –
Need I remind you again? I DON’T SEE!

Screwed by the health industry
I don’t get the cash for surgery

Just what is to become of me?
Overwhelmed with anger… hostility

I’ll rob you for my therapy –
Extension cord… electricity

Finally, I’ll have what sets me free –
I MUST RECORD – THIS CD WILL BE

No light in my sight – my sight might be gone
But I got something that will live on

I’ll even give you a piece of me –
Something to live eternally

Here’s a bootleg copy of my CD
